10/29/2002 — Despite a grey, wet sky we had three successful days of information exchange at this year's MAXI Review which was held at NOAA's Science Center and Auditorium in Silver Spring Maryland. The conference provided a venue to inform personnel of the Department of Commerce, Department of Defense (DoD), National Aeronautics and Space Administration, their contractors, and members of the science community about the status of the US environmental satellite programs as well as those of Europe's Meteorological Satellite Organisation, EUMETSAT. Maxi Review 2003 will be held on the west coast and hosted by the US Air Force.
