    Shuttle Ozone Limb Scattering Experiment / Limb Ozone Retrieval Experiment Launch

    01/16/2003 — The SOLSE/LORE Launch took place on Thursday, January 16 at Kennedy Space Flight Center in FL. SOLSE/LORE is part of the NPOESS risk reduction efforts for the Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite. The SOLSE-2 was switched on successfully and both its instruments SOLSE and LORE and all their systems are working nominally. SOLSE-2 will be collecting data on January 19, 20, 21, 24, 27, 30.
