SOLSE-2 Data from Space Shuttle Columbia
03/06/2003 Data from every ninth SOLSE scan (108 of 1024 wavelengths) and 70% of the LORE data were sent to the ground during the Space Shuttle Columbia's mission. The SOLSE/LORE combination imaged the entire limb like the OMPS Limb Profiler will, unlike the other limb scattering measurements obtained by the instruments described below, which scan in altitude. NASA will process the measurements with their ozone profile
retrieval algorithm and provide the measurements and results to test OMPS Limb Profiler algorithms. The data will be processed with the pre-flight calibration only, instead of an interpolated characterization
